Strategic factor in the effective functioning of the agriculture is its technical potential, due to high labor intensity of agricultural production. That's why upgrading technical capacity is a prerequisite for sustainable economic development. The economic assessment of sources of financing and the directions of technical re-equipment of agrarian and industrial complex of the Oryol region is carried out. The system of modernization of park of equipment and the equipment in agriculture is defined.
