Regional approach to assessment of competitiveness of high-tech research and production clusters

In the article the potential of the research and production clusters which are carrying out basic and applied researches, focused on release of competitive production is analyzed. For an assessment of level of competitiveness of a regional research and production cluster the author suggests to use the structural and expert approach promoting definition of summary estimates of social and economic and technological development of the region.
