Actual tendencies of social and economic development of the Russian regions

In the article it is noted that the crisis phenomena in world economy increased relevance of a problem of definition of the main tendencies of regional development. The approaches presented in economic literature to known tendencies are analyzed and the list of the new is created. The conclusion that authorities of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation need to consider such tendencies in management of the regions is drawn.
