Social, ecological, economic evaluation of region in context of transition to its sustainable development

In Russia the solution of the environmental problem is conditional on the transition to the principles of sustainable development of its regions. The article represents the results of a research modeling of a region as a ternary social-ecological-economic system within the bounds of certain design parameters. The results allow to receive the objective evaluation of social, ecological, economic processes in the region. It will enable to assess the state of the region and make a decision, intended to provide appropriate and necessary social, ecological, economic conditions for the transition to the sustainable development of the region.
