Level of competitiveness of modern economy substantially is defined by innovative development of regions. As one of the directions of increase of level of innovative development of the region cluster approach is offered. In the article the reasons stirring implementation of projects of clusters are analysed, advantages of cluster approach to subjects of the economic relations are considered.
