Development of financial base of local self-government: results and prospects for reform

In the article the results of the local self-government reform in the sphere of the municipal finances are considered. The statistical base of research is formed from the information sources of the Finance Ministry and Federal Service of state statistics. The author revealed the positive and negative trends of development of local budgets and realized the comparative evaluation of the influence of municipal reform on the budgets of the different types of municipalities.
