In the article the analysis of a state of the regional market of fish products (on the example of the Primorsky area) is carried out. The perspective directions of its development are allocated, problems of functioning of the enterprises of a fishery complex of the Far East of Russia which don't allow to develop the market of fish products are reavealed, and lead to decrease in competitiveness of fish production in the Russian market. The main strategic programs of fish complex development are analyzed.
