Human capital and its role in ensuring competitiveness of Russian regions

During the formation of "economy of knowledge" into the forefront there are the quality of life and society prosperity acts. And an indicator of it is extent of accumulation of the human capital and the state investments in it. Location of Russia in rating of the countries on an index of human development is not good, serves as the indicator of that many its regions aren't capable to use the human capital as a factor of development of national economic system
