The analysis of development of the local markets of oil and oil products of the North Caucasian economic region engaging ten subjects of the Russian Federation and concerning traditional oil-extracting provinces is carried out. The executed research of indicators of stocks, production, processing, consumption, dynamics of the prices and price policy in regions allowed to reveal problems and to offer the development directions.
