Natural tourist resources as strategic factor of development underdeveloped and poorly involved in the economic circulation of territories of Russian North

The paper presents results of research of tourism potential realization as strategic direction of underdeveloped and low involved development territories in economics of the Russian north. Algorithm for estimate natural tourism potential of the region using GIS techniques is presented. Priority areas for nature-oriented tourism development in the Arkhangelsk region were revealed.
