Competitiveness of region based on the forming competitive advantages of regional machine building enterprises

This paper presents approaches to assessing the region's competitiveness in terms of their contribution to economic development and innovation activities, the completeness and efficiency of enterprises of key industries in the region a competitive advantage. It is concluded that the presented criteria of competitiveness and the requirements for its formation based on the competitive advantages creates more opportunities for improving strategic management aimed at developing the innovative development of the region.
