In the article the essence and some assessment approaches of the regional society are analyzed. Author explores leading areas of society impacts on innovative socio-economic development of particular territory. The choice of Moscow region as the subject of inquiry is based by the fact of its compliance with the most typical tendencies of innovative socio-economic elaboration.
