The market analysis of building materials in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic

The article suggests the analysis of the dynamics of the production of building materials according to their types, it also brings light to problematic segments of this market. Rock products are the main exporting item among the building materials produced in Kabardino-Balkaria Republic. The present paper proposes a brief evaluation of competitiveness of the rock products on the basis of calculation of indices of market concentration. An attempt is made to define the main barriers preventing the development process in the local market of the rock products in the construction industry. The present article sets the main problems in the development of the construction industry market in the above-mentioned republic and its perspectives.
