The role of small businesses during transition to the innovation development are analized. Condition, challenges and prospects of small innovation entrepreneurship development in the crisis are considered. Innovation infrastructure supporting small businesses is analysed. Proposals on improvement the system of state support and conditions influencing survival and development of small enterprises are elaborated.
