The heterogeneity of information development in the regions of Russia

The analysis of the heterogeneity of information development of regions of Russia is made on the basis of an integrated indicator of the level of ICT development in the region, which is used in the construction of approach KAM (Knowledge Assessment Methodology). A statistically significant relationship between the developed integral indicator of the level of ICT infrastructure in the region and productivity is detected. Empirical studies of the level of development of information culture of students and young workers (under 30) of Krasnodar region has shown the need for the development and implementation at the regional level, specific measures for the development of information culture.
