Genesis of small business in the Russian oil branch

The understanding of the process of the oil-production industry development is essential for the recognition of the importance of small-business development in modern Russia. This article gives the analysis of the historical data for the evolution of small-business in the sphere of oil production. Author provides the time-series analysis while revealing the reasons for sinusoidal pattern in the development of oil industry business in tsarist Russia.
