In the present work the modern situation of state support in flax complex is characterized, the main problems of determination of rate and size of subsidizing payments in flax industry are formulated. It is concluded that it is necessary to modernize such state support of flax industry as subsidizing in order to increase their efficiency. Besides it is very important to consider all technical and technological features of fibre flax`s agriculture and industry.
