SWOT-analysis in the research of ecological and economical components of sustainable development of rural areas of kostroma region

In connection with system crisis in rural areas of Russia and negative dynamic of change of its basic indicators, the problem of ecological component of sustainable development of rural areas is getting more important. In the present work SWOT-analysis method was used to recognize strengths, weaknesses, possibilities and threats of problem. Some recommendations were given to optimize the ecological component of sustainable development of rural areas in the Kostroma region.
