Evolution of forms and mechanisms of regional economic integration development

Globalisation processes in the world economy cause considerable changes of the forms and mechanisms of economic integration. The paper makes an attempt to generalize the practice of integration processes on different continents and in the frame of various integration associations, and to reveal new trends in their functioning. The conclusion is made that classical forms of regional integration are currently complemented with non-traditional models and schemes, allowing member-countries to find the most acceptable options of integration interaction.
