In the article methodical positions on improvement of management mechanisms by using innovative development in the timber industry of the region are presented. These positions make it easier to consolidate technological communications and investment resources of subjects of wood relations. Different tools to activate the innovative activity are offered. They can provide interaction of the state, financial and branch institutes, integration of education, science and manufacture in timber industry.
