The concept of innovations, scientific and technical progress of agricultural industry is considered. Stages of innovative process are resulted. Influence STP a cut of the theory of technological ways is revealed. Schematic determination of time borders of waves of technological way depending on a phase of their life cycle is corrected. Special influence STP on agricultural activity in the fifth wave of technological way is underlined and proved. Use of the approach of open systems to the organization of agroindustrial systems for increase of efficiency of innovative process is offered.
