At the example of 50 years old sylvula of Arkhangel fir in Vologda region the age of technical ripeness at target nurture of wood for the pulp and paper industry is defined. It is noticed that under unfavorable conditions of growing it is necessary to orient the forestry to grow small-scale wood having shorten period of cutting.
