The problem of an information support of depressive regions in modern conditions of management practice is considered in the presented work. The carried out analysis, has shown, that with the beginning of market reforms the differentiation of regions began to increase quickly, thus a part of regions, are characterized by deep degree of doldrums. There is a conclusion that in the circumstances formation of the territorial proportions adequate to market economy, elimination of excessive differentiation of regions on level of social and economic development, maintenance of effective functioning of the all-Russian market is possible on the basis of the information support of economy of depressive regions.
