Using Spearman's Rank Correlation and Kendall to test the hypothesis of influence of education on economic growth

Due to financial crisis the problem of acceleration in economic growth in countries is especially relevant. According to the results of foreign researches the key factor of economic growth and living standard enhancement is the quality of education. This work aimed to verify the correlation among the quality of students’ education and GGP per capita in 44 - 50 countries of the world with the help of Spirman and Kendall rank correlation coefficients. It was found that the quality of education in countries influences their economic growth and this is a direct relation.
