Basic points of economical development in the South of Russia in the post-crisis period

The purpose of this study is to determine the basic points of economical development of Southern Federal and Northern Caucasian Districts (traditionally not a leader of innovative development) with consideration of potential synergistic effect of «merging technology». We propose a strategy for development of mechanical engineering in the South of Russia on the basis of the formation and development of inter-firm networks in the industry by type of value chains.
