In given article industrial cooperation is considered as institute of voluntary cooperation and interaction of various forms of managing. The publication urgency is caused by growth of social and economic value of cooperation of the enterprises in the conditions of financially-industrial crisis. Also the political, social and scientific and technical role of industrial cooperation is designated. Conclusions that the industrial cooperation understood by us in narrow sense as specific business process, it is characteristic for any modern economy, and the industrial cooperation understood as special institute, is formed only in rather developed, stable market economy are drawn.
