It is shown development of tourism as a perspective direction in economy of the North of Russia acts as the catalyst of its social and economic development. The north of Russia has significant potential for development, and future defines time and capital investments. Besides development of tourism can become the alternative form of activity in which radical people of the North will find the application without change of traditional forms of managing and a way of life.
