Analysis of the efficiency of grain production development on the advanced farms of Penza region

Under conditions of crises the problem of economic efficiency improvement of grain production becomes increasingly actually. In 2008 on the farm named after Dimitrov Belinskiy district, Penza region the yield of grain and leguminous crops was 41.1 centers per hectare it was 2.3 times higher the average figures in the region. Such good figures approaching the record yields of 1978 and 1990 resulted from the number of favorable factors. These factors are considered in the article. The analysis of the present state of grain production on the advanced farm of the region shows the main directions of the search for the reserves to increase economic efficiency and to reduce the cost of grain production.
