Implementation of sustainable development indicators at regional and municipal levels

The increased interest in sustainable development concept gives rise to necessity of a regular establishment of priority problems. The effective tool for policy-makers at different levels is sustainable development indicators. In the paper the basic methodological approaches to indicators development at the international level were analyzed, and the Russian experience of implementation of indicators at a regional level was generalized. The basic directions and problems of indicators formation at a regional level were offered.
