Regional economic policy in border region: raising of tasks

In the economy of Russia border regions play an important role, being the areas of co-operation of national and world economy. This role forms the specific lines of their spatial and structural organization requires development of the specific model of regional economic policy. At the same time, in border regions insufficient attention is spared the scientifically-methodological providing of regional economic policy.
     The author of the survey article is ground the necessity of development of this direction of researches, tasks are put, a research hypothesis is offered, the analysis of present theoretical and methodological base is done.
