In presented article authors investigate character of social and economic development of the Chechen Republic in 2008. Having done the comparative analysis with adjacent regions as a part of Southern federal district, authors have defined a taken place the Chechen Republic among them, features of its development last years have stood on hind legs also. On the basis of the system analysis of development of republic conclusions and offers which can serve as a reference point at a choice of the optimum series of measures, directed on a conclusion of the Chechen Republic in all spheres of ability to live on a way of dynamical development and growth are drawn.
