Determination of recreational value of Mariinsko-Tyajinskiy recreational area

The problem of estimating of tourist-recreational resources gets recently greater urgency. In the present work, according to the V. S. Preobrajenskiy’s technique, recreational assessment of Mariinsko-Tyajinskiy recreational area has done. It is concluded that the total recreational assessment depends not only on the presence of natural and cultural-historical resources, but also possible material and organizational difficulties in preparing for traveling and in traveling as well. The same assessment is applicable to each recreational area of Kemerovo region. It lets to determine the directions of further development of tourism in investigated recreational area and in region as a whole.
