Conditions for the creation and functioning of special economic zones in the regions of Russia

The problems of state regulation in the field of creation and functioning of special economic zones (SEZ) are significant at present time. This significance arises from the role that SEZ will have in the development and diversification of national economy. In the article the institutional conditions of SEZ creation and functioning were shown and summarized depending on the particular type of SEZ. The author made proposals for the improvement of existing SEZ legislation with the purpose of changing some of the institutional conditions of their creation and functioning in the regions of Russia.
