The paper summarizes the strategic management experience, the scientific-methodological and regulatory support of socio-economic and structural development in Russia. This paper will work towards knowledge systematization and development of scientific thought in trends and strategic structural planning patterns and the effectiveness of diversification as a strategy for regional development.
