Both theoretical and practical questions connected with estimation of stability in regional economic development are considered in the article. The author analyses the changes in the social-economic development in Ivanovo region by calculation of Integral Criteria of Territory Development. This investigation allowed to define the main trends of improving the regional economy at the modern stage of development.
