Unemployment in region: features, consequences, measures on overcoming

This article is devoted to the problem of unemployment and its regional features. The scope of this phenomenon in modern Russia are analyzed; inter-regional comparisons of the major parameters of unemployment are made. The basic attention is given to the features of unemployment in the Republic of Dagestan, factors and consequences of unemployment in the given republic are defined. The author formulates a number of measures concerning the employment policy in Daghestan which also can be used in other regions with a similar situation on the labour market.
