Prospects of formation of urban network of Siberian Federal District’s regional centers

Many contemporary researches state that large-scale spatial structures are the global centers of competitiveness. Russia is lacking of mega-city regions that could compete with foreign global centers these days. The author of the paper offers decisions on a formation of a mega-city region in Siberia on a base of network approach to the urban development. The formation of urban networks of largest Siberian cities can help to a formation of a mega-city region hereafter.
