In the given scientific article the author emphasizes the major problems which are getting in way of tourism development in the Russian Federation. Author provides the ways of solving these issues, basing the solutions on the German experience. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the government structure in Russia, by revealing of its strengths and weaknesses, and also to the ways of government structure improvement for the further smooth development of tourist industry in our country.
