Application of intuitive methods in the course of forecasting of social and economic development of regions

One of the main functions of management is forecasting and planning. According to the current legislation the duty on working out of forecasts of social and economic development of regions is assigned to executive authorities of regions of the Russian Federation. In the article the methods applied in the course of forecasting of social and economic development of regions are analyzed. The basic attention is given intuitive methods of forecasting, features of their application are considered. The basic directions of improvement of system of the forecasting, that is constructed on intuitive methods, are formulated in conclusion.
