Contemporary composition and structure of the mining branch of the Khabarovsk Region is briefly described. Is most developed in the edge the output of noble metals, first of all gold; the layers of coal, building materials, underground waters, tin are developed. There is the need for diversifying the mining sector of economy of edge via the mastery of the new forms of the mineral raw material, which have the lasting comprehensive effectiveness, first of all social.
