The Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (as a part of the customs union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus) will promote growth of power-consumption not only in the capital of the country and other large industrial centres, but also in some regions (for example, in the Vologda region), where industrial production growth (especially after overcoming of financial crisis) with creation of new powerful energy-requiring complexes was already outlined and predicted. Almost all large enterprises of the region essentially plan to reconstruct and increase their capacities. So, problems of power-savings at the realization of these plans and variants of their decisions are presented in this article.
