Modern approach to organisation of rural tourism in Central and Eastern Europe

The article is devoted to the problem of setting up the industry of rural tourism in countries of Eastern Europe. The authors show the experience of Slovenia in developing rurul tourism . The main options which help to start the industry of rural tourism are as follows - to issue special legislation act on rural tourism activities ; to set up special unit « The Assoсiation of rural tourism». The authors shows some facts about the spreading of rural tourism in Slovenia. The number of tourist farms increased sharply in Slovenia and reached the level of more than 300. Tourist farms in Slovenia offer wide range of recreatin facilities.
