The article studies local peculiarities of the Russian province economy in the beginning of the XX century, which had influenced on the entrepreneurship development in the Yakut region. Estates, which forms the basis of entrepreneurship, such as the gentry and petty bourgeoisie, were very small in size in Yakutia. That is why the enterprise society was developed very slowly and by means of the peasantry and other estates. The enterprise society had been developed during the period studied in the article, and the official statistical data is very poor. The information required is to be thoroughly sought in other sources.
