In the article, based on conducted questionnaire survey and the expert poll, the basis factors, determining the level of the regional insurance market competitive environment development, are revealed. In addition, the profile of a typical insurance customer in Primorsky territory is given. The ways of the Primorsky territory insurance market competitive environment development under conditions of insurance significance increase in the social and economical development of Russia and her territories are proposed.
