Statistical methods in an estimation of dynamics of a population of the Udmurt Republic

By means of economic-statistical methods perspective calculations of a population as a whole on the country (region) and on age groups are carried out. Using, the method stated in article, it is possible to find the analytical formula of a curve which most precisely would reflect the basic tendency of change of levels during the period. Settlement levels define on the basis of the equation of the corresponding curve which parametres find way of the least squares. According to authors, it is possible to use the linear dependence expressed by the equation of a straight line; polynominal the dependence expressed by the equation of a parabola of the second order or exponential dependence.
