Assessment of Living Conditions of Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Families

The article reveals the family housing condition and problems, depending on their place of residence, demographic composition, number of children. The relation between the living conditions and poverty or extreme poverty signd is highlighted. It also gives a rate scale for defining the family living conditions; this scale shows that the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) accumulates non-met demand for separate comfortable housing, despite the fact of relatively low needs, remaining on a socially acceptable level.
