In given article pressing questions of demographic indicators in system of regulation of the food market of Ingushetia are considered. The analysis on the basis of demographic indicators allows to answer such questions of the market. It has been revealed, that one of the basic indicators of the given research is the demography account as to ordering of its data gives the information on a population, quantity of families, structure of incomes and expenses, to a card of flavouring and quantitative preferences of the population. These data will allow participants of the food market, in particular to the state to develop the food policy meeting modern requirements of the market, and to the food companies to plan the business activity on the basis of the objective and full information on a condition, functioning and developments of the market of the foodstuffs of this or that region, and to participants of the market a real estimation of parametres of the market and a condition of its conjuncture
