Benchmarking as a Tool for Creating a Regional Innovational Strategy

The article studies theoretical aspects of forming an innovative strategy of regional development based on tools of benchmarking and evaluation of alternatives for creating strategies and increasing management efficiency based on the deeper understanding of the quantitavie analysis of innovative regions. Using the EU experience at creating the innovational policy with the benchmarking tools, the authors analysed the indicators of innovational development for leading regions and offered to compare them with the Krasnodar region innovative progress.
