Influence of regional development strategy on the priorities of the management priorities of labour potential

The article deals with the issue of choosing a strategy of labor potential management. The author argues that transition from one regional development strategy to another depends on the condition and prospects of the increase in labour potential, which is the most important integrated feature of the regional manpower resources. The article analyses regional development strategies followed in certain regions of Russia; the author also suggests a matrix thereof contributing to the substantiation of the priorities of manpower regional policy with reference to the strategy chosen.
