Promotion of the social and economic development of the northern regions in terms of reformation of nature management taxation

Promotion of the sustainable social and economic development of the northern regions depends on the development of natural resources potential. The article proves the urgency of the development of nature management taxation in order to develop the natural resources potential of the region. The analysis of resource payments structure in the revenues derived from taxes both in the federal and local budgets of the Russian Federation showed that the odds are in favor of the federal budget after tax payments are distributed between the budgets. Most of the payments come from mining operations tax. The analysis singles out the main reformation lines to promote the social and economic development of the northern regions.
